The Ronald E. McNair Program

Scholarship Description
Must demonstrate interest in pursuing a Ph.D. Must be of first generation and receive Federal (PELL) or Legislative (LEG) Aid or be from an underrepresented minority group Must have a 3.33 GPA or higher Must be in the third or fourth year of undergraduate school Must be willing to carry out research Must be recommended by two members of the UPRH faculty Must be willing to participate in all McNair activities (Seminars, colloquiums, trainings, etc.) Must apply to graduate school during their Senior year.
