Scholarship Description
The Mary Gates Endowment Scholarship is awarded to entering Honors freshmen on the basis of academic merit. This fund was established by Bill and Melinda Gates to support excellence in undergraduate education at the University of Washington and in particular to create new opportunities for students to become independent learners and community leaders.
