Distinguished Achievement Academic Scholarship

Scholarship Description
The Distinguished Achievement Scholarship is $6,400.00 per year ($25,600.00 over eight semesters). Distinguished Achievement Scholars are also eligible for University Out-of-State Waivers. The criteria for the Distinguished Achievement scholarship are as follows: Must have graduated from a high school within 12 months of enrolling at Prairie View A&M University. Student can not be considered a transfer student from another college or university. Must have a minimum 3.00 cumulative high school GPA. (3.00 on a 4.0 scale) Must have a minimum 1500 SAT or 21 composite ACT score. Please note, the writing component (essay) is required. The Distinguished Achievement Academic Scholarships are renewable up to four years (eight semesters) provided the student maintains a 15 Hour Semester Load and minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
