Scholarship Description
Army ROTC awards hundreds of scholarships at over 270 colleges and universities, covering the cost of all tuition and fees. Scholarship winners also receive a monthly stipend ($300 freshman, $350 sophomore, $450 junior, and $500 senior) for each academic month, plus $1200 per year for books and other education items. Non-scholarship students can still receive the monthly stipend as a contracted cadet as early as the start of their sophomore year. Students selected to receive a scholarship must fulfill their commitment to the Army after completing the program by: 1) serving part time in the Army National Guard or Army Reserve, or 2) serving full time on active duty. [General Scholarship Criteria] This scholarship is available to: High School Senior / Incoming Freshman / College Freshman / College Sophomore / College Junior These scholarships are available to high school seniors/incoming freshman, and current college freshman and sophomores. Scholarships are available to other students (if available) if they have at a minimum two academic years remaining.
