Kermit L. Hall and Phyllis A. Hall Inaugural Scholarship Fund

Scholarship Description
Established by 17th UAlbany President Kermit L. Hall when he took office, this endowed fund is designed to provide need-based undergraduate student scholarships. At President Hall’s direction, the fund was seeded with the $100,000 that the campus community could have spent on a presidential inauguration. This scholarship is administered through the Office of Financial Aid in conjunction with the Office of Undergraduate Studies and Office of Admissions. Name changed in 2006, following the death of President Kermit Hall on August 13th, 2006.
