Ira Lampert Foundation Scholarship

Scholarship Description
The Ira and Ileene Lampert Foundation Queens College Scholarship Program has been established with a mission to assist high-achieving day, evening and weekend students for whom financial support is essential for the completion of their education and their retention at Queens College. The Scholarship Program has been initiated to achieve its mission by identifying students who have proven themselves academically, who demonstrate financial need, and who will commit themselves to service to the college and continue their academic excellence. Both full-time and part-time students are eligible to apply. Full-time students must be upper sophomores who have earned a 3.5 or better GPA at Queens College, and who demonstrate financial need. Full-time Lampert Scholars will receive up to $1,000 of financial support per semester. Part-time, ACE or Weekend students must have completed at least 60 credits to be eligible to apply. Part-time students are eligible to receive $500 of support per semester. Part-time students must maintain an enrollment of 6 credits per semester. In return for the scholarship, full-time students must commit themselves to performing volunteer service for Queens College or for the Queens College community.
