Scholarship Description
Description: This award provides support for a doctoral student in the Department of Teaching and Learning in the final semesters of his or her program; that is, in the data gathering and writing phases of the dissertation. Award: Amount varies. The amount of the work-free fellowship is the equivalent of a half-time graduate assistantship plus benefits for one semester plus one month in the summer. Eligibility: Doctoral students in the Department of Teaching and Learning with an approved prospectus whose dissertation deals with the measurement of educational objects in any one of four areas: science education, mathematics education, social studies education, or language and literacy education.
