Dean's Scholars Program
- Scholarship Description
- Clark Atlanta University is pleased to announce our Dean's Scholars Program. First-time freshmen that meet the following criteria and complete the application process by February 1 of their senior year will be considered for the scholarship program. Applicants with a grade point average (GPA) between a 3.25 - 3.49 and 1100 SAT score (verbal and math only) (24 composite ACT) will be considered for an award that will cover tuition only. Financial need of each applicant will be considered in the selection process. This award is renewable annually based on meeting all scholarship renewal criteria. All eligible applicants that meet the criteria by the designated deadlines will be placed in a pool and ranked using the three criteria of test scores (SAT/ACT), high school grades point averages and financial need. The number and amounts of all awards will be subject to available institutional funding. Dean's Scholars Program recipients must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.25, be enrolled in fifteen (15) hours of undergraduate courses per semester and successfully complete at least 30 credit hours per academic year. Dean's Scholars Program award may only be used beginning the fall semester after the student graduates from high school. The award is renewable for a maximum of four years (eight semesters) as long as the student maintains all scholarship renewal criteria.
