University Scholarship Award

Scholarship Description
This scholarship encourages and supports the scholarly development of current CSUN students and transfer students entering the University. Recipients of the scholarship must be continuing CSUN undergraduates during the year they receive the scholarship funds. The University Scholarship experience provides developing scholars the opportunity to more deeply explore their fields of interest and to develop mentoring relationships with faculty members. It is hoped that the scholarship year will be used to prepare students for the Presidential Scholarship competition where scholars are expected to plan and implement a scholarly project under the guidance of a faculty mentor. As a University Scholar, you will receive a $3,000 scholarship, a textbook discount at the Matador bookstore, priority registration for classes, and recognition by the President of the University.
