Around Town

There are many campus events. We have social and artsy events. The theatre and music departments always have something going on. We have a music artist perform every spring. Off-campus things will be tough for those without a car.

Our Campus Activities Board organization does an awesome job at providing us fun things to do during the semester. Trips to NYC, Philly, and Washington D.C happen every year. However, every week there's always things to do like Pinterest nights, Wings and Trivia, movie nights, comedians, hypnotists, the list goes on and on! In the city of York, there is always a big celebration on the first Friday of every month with live music, food specials, boutique sales, and much more! First Fridays are anticipated by everyone at the college because they're so fun.

There are so many activities to do on campus. Every weekend they have different trips and different evening activities including: open mic nights, comedians, movies, and sporting events. There is no reason to bored or to go home on weekends.

There are plenty of things to do for fun. The campus activites board is always hosting events ranging from bingo and casino nights, to guest comedians and more. There is something to do every weekend, and sometimes something to do everyday of the week. There are also local malls less than 15 minutes away for the people who love to shop. There are also plenty of fun places to eat around the city.

There's a ton of on campus activities. There's intramural sports, movies, bingo, game shows. There's bingo monthly, with cash prizes, gift cards, stuff from the bookstore. There's a movie played every Thursday and Saturday (movies out of theaters but before on DVD), there's also game shows like Trivia, Family Feud and Cell Phone Trivia. Great Greek Life and Clubs.

This school has the Campus Activities Board (CAB) organization that puts on a lot of fun events on and off campus (mostly on weekends) for students to do. Otherwise, unfortunately most of the fun things are off campus and may require a car.

I am not a partier, so I can't say anything about the action on Jackson street, where all of the off campus housing is, but I can tell you that my roommate enjoys the parties. There is plenty to do in York city from going to White rose, a restaurant, to going to the cute little shops around. On campus there are CAB, Campus activities Board, activities going on constantly. There is no reason to be bored on campus.
