One of the most beautiful campuses I've ever been on! All the professors are passionate about what they teach and are always willing to go the extra mile to help.…
Besides being surrounded by natural beauty, UW-Eau Claire also has the perk of being a very accepting place to new students. From the first day I stepped onto campus…
UWEC is, in all honesty, a wonderful school. In my opinion it is the perfect size, not too big and not too small. Additionally, the professors I've had and the…
We foster in one another creativity, critical insight, empathy, and intellectual courage - the hallmarks of a transformative liberal education and the foundation for active citizenship and lifelong inquiry. Founded in 1916, UW-Eau Claire continues to build its national reputation based on the achievements of its students and faculty. As one of the Midwest's top public universities, UW-Eau Claire provides students with small classes led by talented professors, cutting-edge programs, hands-on research and life-enhancing study abroad opportunities. Add to that a safe and friendly campus community and beautiful surroundings (from rivers and bike trails to shopping and entertainment), and you've got one exceptional place.
Everyone is really friendly at UWEC. Because of the small size, it is easier to build connections with people - especially if you work on campus where you interact with many students on a daily basis. The campus itself is really beautiful, and the RAs in the dorms are always looking for fun activities for the floors to do so that college can be a richer experience for everyone.

Read MoreI loved visiting campus! it has all the cute little quirks of a small town university but is large enough to offer you almost any opportunity imaginable. Plus it was voted Wisconsin's most beautiful campus and i have to say it's true!

Of course, being from Eau Claire originally, I might be biased, but now that I've gotten to knowing professors, using the library, taking advantage of all the facilities at my disposal--I've come to the conclusion that this college is probably where I'll be staying.
Read MoreThe campus is great. It's nice and small and all in one area. Everything is in walking distance and if it is further away there is a free busing system! I met so many new friends and had a great time my first year. Not to mention, the campus is beautiful. There are many open areas where students lay and study and play games with their friends.
