  • I am accepted here and planning to attend soon

The first thing you hear when someone mentions Mizzou around my hometown is "Oof, very expensive." Normally that is followed by, "It's a great school!" The price tag seems hefty, but there are a lot of options available. Do your FAFSA. Apply for local and institutional scholarships. Check into Work-Study programs. Look into student loans. Save up as much money as possible before you hit campus.

If your going to attend the parties, you might want to get a job. Some parties cost 10-20 dollars.. NO JOKE. Some are worth it and some are not. Mizzou dining service is always hiring and the markets. They can work with your schedule. But I suggest to save up your money during the summer and then when you come to Mizzou.. let loose. Your going to be going downtown which is walking distance to shop for clothes for the parties. Some are themed and some are not. It depends really. You don't have to dress up in heals and skirt for every party, you can be yourself and still have fun but make sure to dress sexy. The parties are not PG-13.

  • I am researching this school and have visited the campus

Mizzou is public, so it is not too expensive for what comes with it. With all the amenities that come with it, the 4-year tuition/cost is definitely worth it. This will be an experience you never want to forget.
