Some of my tips for prospective students would be to make yourself a Google Calendar. This really does help with reminding you when your classes are, when and where your meetings are, basically, your whole college life revolves around your Google Calendar. Another tip is to be very careful as to not lose yourself and your morals. It is very easy to follow the crowd but if you be your own person, you will get a few friends who share the same mindset as you. And my last tip would be to do your homework no matter what. College is not hard, but you must be willing to do the work. You do the work, you pass the class. It's that simple trust me. (PS, I only stayed here for a semester before I transferred to another school).

Read MoreBe careful who you choose to hang out with. The school itself is a wonderful place academically, but unfortunately there is a LARGE amount of drinking taking place on campus and it is hard to get to know people if you are not out partying with the rest of them. But I don't wish to discourage prospective students but to instead come be a leader and help bring about change and awareness. Be a role model for the other students because one (or the few) student(s) cannot do it alone.
