Read MoreWe have endless clubs and activities. You will never be bored.
Read MoreThere are always events happening around campus sponsored by both the school and student groups. One of the best one is "Covers," hosted by the Goliard student Literary Magazine, where student musicians play and sing covers of popular songs that fit with the theme.
Read MoreThere are plenty of clubs and activities to keep you active throughout the week, as well as a gym that is open every day. Parties are usually small, but happen on weekends and Wednesdays. There are usually plenty of events throughout the week put together by many clubs and organizations. Off campus, there's a gorgeous library, a bunch of fun shops to lurk through, movie theaters and the occasional event going on in downtown Wooster. Plus there's always fun to be had with friends--since the campus is small it's easy to coordinate a video game night with friends out of the blue :)
Read MoreMost people are part of at least 3 extracurricular activities at Wooster and this can help you stay busy. It is very easy to find people with similar interests on campus. There are many athletic (varsity and non-varsity) activities to attend and participate in.
Read MoreHonestly, weekends consist of binge-drinking in small dorm rooms. This is not a party school, especially as of recent due to policies concerning drinking and limitations on the size gatherings. We occasionally have live music, but your weekend experience will ultimately come down to your friend group. Overall I'd say weekends can either be very very good or very very bad. There's usually no in between.
Read MoreCOW puts on a lot of major events throughout the year, such as J'ouvert, a few different concerts, lectures, various themed nights at Lowry, and so on. Off-campus, there's a great college-town sort of Downtown, as well as a more commercialized uptown. Going out to eat with a bunch of friends is usually my first choice, since there are a lot of great places within walking distance in either part of town. Downtown there are many antique shops and second-hand stores, along with a few furniture/pottery/curio sort of shops, as well as tattoo and piercing parlors, and a really well stocked bookstore. Uptown, you've got your typical retail stores: WalMart, Kohls, Elder Beerman, JCPenny's, etc. Also, at the beginning of the fall there are a lot of events that take place in the more rural part of Wooster, mainly corn mazes, pumpkin patches, stuff of that nature. There's also a paintball field about 45 minutes out that I hear is pretty excellent.
Read MoreThere really isnâ??t a whole lot to do for fun in such a small town, especially for a college student. A lot of people have there own cars and can drive to some surrounding towns, but itâ??s not much better. In the end most people just end up drinking.
