    As I said before, the experience is what you make if it. I've been a part of some pretty incredible things here, so I'd say it's definitely worth the cost. Other universities might be less expensive, but they don't afford you all the opportunities Penn State does. I'm not even out of school yet and the alumni network has already helped me out time and time again, which is an invaluable asset.

    Yes Penn State is expensive. However, a degree from Penn State will land you a job after you graduate. You also pay for the research and facilities that we have here. There are many opportunities to get involved in research and you could be a part of the future! Penn State is also the full college experience. I would not ever consider going somewhere cheaper because of all that Penn State has to offer. With over 40,000 people here, you will find lifelong friends and an invaluable education. The faculty all know their areas very well and the passion for teaching is inspiring.

    You absolutely get your bang for the buck at Penn State because of the endless opportunities and fun things to do that there are. Many employers will be more likely to higher you because they see that you went to Penn State. There are many research positions available to get you experience for a future job right on campus. One of these is a plant pathology lab where you can study different organisms that you find on many plants such as Aphids.
