Degrees in this field cover vast territory - much like Russia itself. Course include Russian language, literature, philosophy, arts, and business.
The program may seem restrictive, but there are many ways a graduate can use a major in Russian language and literature. After college, they sometimes find themselves working in the education or nonprofit sectors. You may also be able to find work as a translator, interpreter, journalist, or government employee.
