Not every career in medicine requires you to undergo years of medical school. That means if you crave a career that allows you to help people and get involved in the healthcare field, getting a degree in diagnostic medical sonography and ultrasound technology may be right for you.

Diagnostic medical sonography majors operate equipment with special imaging technology to conduct tests on medical patients. These tests and image and results are then used to accurately diagnose conditions and diseases.
