Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering
Most kids dream of being astronauts or at least being part of a space exploration mission. Well, choosing this major gives you the chance to achieve that childhood goal.
Majoring in aerospace, aeronautical and astronautical engineering gives you the chance to study the systems that operate inside and out of the Earth's atmosphere.
As a student, you will be taught about design, development, and research. You'll also cover the physical properties of spacecraft, rockets, and aircraft. This program prepares students to apply scientific and mathematical principles to design, operational value, and development of space vehicles, missiles, and aircraft. Students will most likely be researching flight and orbital characteristics, as well.
