Despite being a relatively small school, Clayton state is very affordable in comparison to larger universities. Some students even opt to pay their tuition out of pocket. The only downfall of the institution is their scholarships. They are done based on a lottery system. Meaning that a student who goes to every class and puts forth earnest effort may be overlooked for a scholarship because a student who only attended the first and last day of class was selected for the award based off the lottery selection.

The HUB offers great front-line Help Desk Support. If you have a computer issue and need it fixed the technology fee is only $57 a semester and that is fairly cheap to be able to get support for computer software and hardware support. If you enjoy a good scenery when you are at college then Clayton State University is a good place for it because it has a nice lake with benches that you can just take a little time to enjoy that scenery and also you can go fishing at the lake. The Center for Academic Success has a great team of staff that help get students the right tutor and help them with their classes they are taking.
