Read MoreI like to go to the beach. In my first year, I went to 4 different beaches which was really amazing. Hiking out here is also big, there are many different places to go. Traveling a city away to go visit sand dunes or kayaking is really easy, it's also fun to even walk down the streets to see the stores and cafes. I also like to go up to the different animal units to look at how the pigs or leopard tortoises are doing, or go to see the cows. That is a part of my academic curriculum since I'm an animal science major, but regardless, seeing some baby animals is always sweet. There's also a really neat area nicknamed "Arch Graveyard" where the architectural students will build senior projects, some of which stay up.
