Easily within walking distance. 28th street (Woodland Mall) is about 10 minutes away by car. 44th street (Rivertown Crossings) is about 20 minutes away by car. There aren't many parties (and the ones they have aren't that great) but there are quite a few things usually going on during the school year.
Read MoreThere are endless amounts of things to do while at Aquinas, especially being in the Grand Rapids area. There is always something new going on downtown and even just a short drive away at Grand Valley, Calvin, or Ferris. Aquinas always holds special events on campus, whether it's comedians, speakers, sports games, fall festivals, homecoming week, etc. I've never been to an event on campus that wasn't worth my time.

Read MoreThere are a lot of different kinds of clubs offered at Aquinas as well as intramural sports groups throughout the school year. There are a lot of little shops within walking distance from the campus. There is also the possibility of creating new groups or clubs on campus.

Read MoreThere are a hundred and one things you can do for fun. There is always some campus, club, promotional, or volunteer event on and off campus. Eastown is not a far walk and there are many shops and restaurants down there. You can feed the squirrels and even pet one if you are so inclined (I came close). Downtown Grand Rapids is not a far drive and there are a hundred and one things to do down there alone! Get your friends together and watch a movie, start a band, go plant hunting. It is up to you!
