I'm not a big fan of the cafeteria food served on campus (unfortunately it also doesn't sit well with my stomach). However, we also have a variety of restaurants on campus, (Subway, Popeyes, Einstein Bagel bros, Miso, Zoca, The Wedge, Starbucks). All these restaurants are good, but I will say that it gets old eating at the same places all the time.

thomson cafeteria is very hit or miss. sometimes the food is pretty good, but usually not so much. the times are odd too, they're open for "cold breakfast" and "cold lunch" (cereal, sandwiches, salad, fruit, cookies, drinks) for large chunks of time in the middle of the day, often in prime times between classes making it difficult to get food with a regular meal plan. there are other options to spend cafe cash or real money on in markley's, eagle express, and subway but they are very expensive and also hold strange hours. you're best off getting a meal plan heavy on cafe cash rather than meal swipes, and budgeting to buy other food off-campus.

The variety of places to eat is good: Subway, Starbucks, Einstein Bros, Eagle Express (conveinence type store), Thompson Cafeteria, Popeyes, Zoca (Mexican), Burger Studio, Miso (sushi place) and The Wedge (salads etc.! Meal Plan for freshman is only two options for residents. Cafe Cash generally comes with every meal plan. Meal plans can be confusing as to how many meals and where you can use them.

The food and dining here is great. If you find something you don't like there are many other options to choose from. You can eat either at the cafeteria or the Digiorgo Center. The Digiorgo Center has Chinese, Mexican, a healthy choice menu, and more. The cafeteria has varied foods everyday.

The cafeteria is decent. It has plenty of options to choose from, plus they have special theme days where they cook something special. The on campus fast food restaurants are the best though.

There are several options for on-campus dining, but it won't be the same as a good home-cooked meal. If you don't want to eat on-campus, there are places nearby for off-campus dining.

I chose to not pledge a sorority in my Freshman year in order to firmly grasp my academic life. If I am able to continue at Winthrop, I may consider pledging a sorority in my Junior year.

Greek life is important and a big deal on campus but in a good way. Students who meet the GPA requirement, attend the interest meeting and are well-rounded are encouraged to join Greek Life. It can be a lifelong lifetime fulfilling experience that can only be beneficial.

Winthrop University has an amazing Greek Life program. I myself am involved in Greek Life. The Greek Life at Winthrop is very welcoming. They are outgoing and open for questions that interested students may have. Greek Life is very involved in Rock Hill's community as well as on campus. Greek Life is a wonderful way to be involved on campus and one can meet so many people that they might not normally have a chance to know. Greek Life is a great way to express one's passion for their school. And remember you are always wearing your letters.

Greek life is a major part of our campus. I personally did not rush, but sometimes I wish I had. I have a lot of friends in fraternities and sororities and they all love it. Just a fun fact, our greek students have a higher average GPA than our non-greek students.
