The dorms are small. The dorms are expensive. As with most colleges, the dorms are not especially comfortable, feature communal bathrooms, and can occasionally be louder than they should. On the…
The freshmen dorms are awful. There are maintenance people who are supposed to clean them, but I have never once seen them do anything other than vacuum. It's alright if…
I am a commuter, so I don't know what dorm life is like personally. With that being said, I can say what I have heard from other students. Socially, living…
Dorm Life is an amazing experience at Whittier. The rooms are much larger than typical college dorms and the Residential Life staff is amazing. Dorm life, especially as a freshman,…
Students are able to live on campus, rent apartments from the school or live on their own that is within 25 miles. Freshman and Sophomores are usually grouped together in…
I'm going to be honest, I'm not too familiar with the quality of the food. I prefer to remain neutral.
Read MoreThe dining experience is pretty good. The meals are well prepared and the consistency of menu is not bad.
Read MoreThe Spot is a great place to catch a fast meal, but the Campus Inn has an outstanding buffet!
Read Moregood variety of home style cooking and very friendly staff
Read MoreI don't hear a lot of good things about the food but Chicken Parmesan is the best I hear.
Read MoreThe food and dinging here is poor especially if you are an athlete. It is difficult to find food here where you can get enough good tasting protein in your body for your upcoming athletic events. The staff that works in the food and dining area are polite and courteous but the food is not a strong suite here.
Read MoreDepends on where you eat and what you eat. You'll have to try it and find out. Off campus eateries are also excellent.
Read MoreThe food and dinning is awesome. It is a buffet style everyday and there is a variety of foods you can eat. There is also a place where you can eat at if you not do not want to eat in the cafeteria. This place also have a variety of things you can eat such as, snacks, drinks, little lunch meals, coffee, tea, and etc.
Read MoreThe food is great on most days and there is a variety to choose from everyday.
Read MoreJust like any other cafeteria, the food gets old, but it's still good.
Read MoreStill exploring. Not sure yet.
Read MoreAre greek life's are known as Societies and they are Athenians, Ionians, Metaphonians, Palmers, Thalians for women and for men we have Franklins, Orthogonians, and the William Penns
Read MoreSocieties which are local fraternities there are male, female, and co-ed
Read MoreThere are a lot of events hosted by societies on campus which I hear are very interesting. It's all very secretive to outsiders so not much can be said. Pledging season is quite a sight though.
Read MoreWe have societies, which are the same thing but on a smaller scale.
Read MoreThere are numerous fraternities and sororities at Whittier College. There's a little something for everyone.
Read MoreThere is no greek affiliated sororities of fraternities, they are called societies.
Read MoreWhittier College does not participate in the Greek system, however we have our own Society system. It is smaller than the Greek system and it provides closer interaction among current Society members and the alumni. There is a very close connection among current members and alumni which is highly useful for post graduation.
Read MoreNo Greek affiliation, but we do have societies which are similar in relationship building.
