Read MoreFrisbee, soccer, anything outside! The Outdoor Program leads trips almost every weekend, with everything from rafting to rock climbing to birding. Every student gets an OP Scholarship fund to help cut down on the (already reasonable) costs of the trips, so hopefully every student can participate in at least 1 trip if they're interested. Community service is also very popular, with many weekly activities to join.
Read MoreReally I can not stress it enough how great this community is. Whitman and Walla Walla keep surprising me with the amount of activities not only on campus but also off campus that it provides. I personally play a varsity sport here at Whitman and I am very involved with the community. I never have days when I have nothing to do but in a good way. I enjoy being busy in daily activities. There are so many great things to do and if there isn't anything special going on like events or parties, there is always something to do with your close fiends like go to town buy ice cream, or watch a movie together. We have a great balance of activities that involve the outdoors and indoors. Its just a wonderful college that does its best to keep its students happy, and I am living proof that it is working!

Read MoreAt Whitman there is always something to do whether it is joining clubs, going to parties during the weekend, taking strolls, getting athletically fit at the Rock Climbing Wall, or simply going into town.
Read MoreThe Whitman campus always has events going on. If you are a party person, you can always go to the greek parties which happen pretty much every weekend. The town of Walla Walla is small, but like I said, I think the college puts of enough events to keep you entertained. We have a group called WEB, which is the Whitman Events Board, and they bring guest speakers to campus, put on movie screenings, bring a kind of well-known artist every year to perform a concert.
Read MoreMany events such as movie screenings, public speakers, student musicians, etc. are put on during the week. Lots of people go to house or frat parties on the weekends, but there is no pressure to be involved in the party scene.
Read MoreThere are multiple clubs to join, intramural sports, rock climbing wall, functions at sororities and fraternities are just a few examples.
