WCCC is good for what it is. If you choose your classes right, the professors here are some of the greatest and most caring around. The Youngwood Campus is depressing and currently choked with construction, but it truly is a solid starting point for your career or college education.

WCCC is a great option for saving money in college. As a visiting student who takes summer classes there, I can assure you that many of the credits you earn will indeed transfer to your home college/university. Finally, online classes make schoolwork easy!

A great college for starting out when you are unsure about your major/what college to go to and the best school for Nursing. The professors are nice and willing to help you, much like high school. With that being said, it is a lot like high school so if you're looking for the "college experience" this is not the place

Westmoreland County Community College is a small campus with a lot of basic classes. It offers no four year programs, but has everything needed to receive an associates degree for a wide range of subjects, with nursing being a very popular one. The tuition is incredibly cheap, and the majority of teachers I have had have been very effective.

WCCC is a good school if you know where you are headed. You will get out of your classes as much as you put into them. Many sections of courses are offered, which makes it easy to work them around your busy schedule.

Great teachers who also teach at many four year institutions in the area. Easy to talk to faculty for whatever the student need is. WCCC is a commuter school so it can be difficult to establish friends because most everyone files in and out of the parking lot when their classes are over. My credits transferred to a private out-of-state university successfully!

I am currently taking my pre req classes and other basic classes I need to enroll for their dental hygiene program. I am very happy so far with this school, and my teachers are great.

It's a great value for college and it's extremely easy to transfer out of. Mostly everyone on staff tries to help the students. But I don't feel like I got a proper education for the classes I did take.
