Going here can be very bleak at times, and many, many people stop coming to class or drop out entirely, and end up wasting a lot of money. Take this experience as an opportunity to build mental fortitude, and you'll have that skill the rest of your life.

    If you are attending WCCC full-time, be sure to check out any scholarships the college may have for you. For example, there is a full-tuition scholarship for those who graduated in the top 10% of their class at a Westmoreland county high school. On the other hand, visiting students should check with their home institutions beforehand to make sure the credits will transfer.

    Figure out what degree you are getting and schedule your own classes, it is so much easier and you can make the schedule however you want (the counselors always mess it up big time and will have you going at the most inconvenient times)

    Make sure you are organized, I have found the staff to be much less organized than at a previous university I have attended. Paperwork seems to get lost often.
