I don't have a meal plan, but I have eaten in the dining halls a few times and the food is good for a dining hall. There are quite a few other options on campus for food too, kinda pricey, but decent.

I dropped my meal plan the first week I lived here - although I was allowed, due to living in an apartment instead of a dorm. It just didn't work for me. I'm sure it's decent enough as far as cafeteria food goes.

All 3 dining halls are pretty good with a fair amount of vegan and vegetairan options. The ridge is the best one. Take advantage of late night meals, they often taste the best.

There are 3 major dinning halls and they all have many different food options at any given time. You could also eat in the Union where there is a market and vendors to get food at for a decent price. Very neat and clean eating spaces.

The food is good, and there is a lot of it, but after a few days of cafeteria food, I started getting sick. Ease into the campus diet and don't forget some fruits and veggies.

I absolutely hate the dining hall at WWU. I wish I could give it zero stars. I am vegan and ate animal products ten times (that I know of) over two quarters due to false labeling. They throw out vegetarian and vegan labels on their foods regardless if they are or not. They also put out incorrect ingredients lists on many of their items. BEWARE if you have allergies, moral, or religious concerns with your diet. I spoke with the assistant director of the dining hall weekly for an entire quarter and saw little to no improvement in the dining hall. Bonus: you could sue the dining hall if you have allergies and make a lot of money!

There is no Greek Life on campus. Western does have a few business fraternities but they do not have their own house like much of the other schools that have a Greek system.
