I love the campus--absolutely beautiful. Red brick everywhere...and then the ocean on one side, and a forest on the other. Wow! And all the people are very friendly.

I was a commuter student my first year so it made it difficult at times to make friendships due to my limited schedule. But I recently moved closer to campus and it helped me to get better connected and I am enjoying this year so much more! You will get as much out of your college experience as you put in so make the effort and you will not regret it!
Read MoreThe people at WWU are friendly and accepting. There is a club for everything and everyone. Even with all the rain everybody has a smile on their face. Dorms have so many activities to enjoy throughout each week like henna tattoos, floor wars, and dances.

Read MoreWestern is amazingly fun; there is always something going on for all types of people. Human vs. Zombies, clubs all over the board (go to the Info Fair at the start of the year; almost all the clubs set up info booths), excursions through the Outdoor Center... the list goes on. The type of people that come to WWU are all really nice, too. It's actually a little scary how nice everyone is; there are almost no clicks and everyone is really welcoming and inclusive. Plus, you can't beat Bellingham as a town; it has everything!
