WVU is a big school; however, I have not met a professor who is not willing to help students outside of class. Even though there can be classrooms filled with 200 students at a time, it is very easy to get to know the professor and to work with them one-on-one to really understand the material. As long as the student is willing to work, the professor will work with them. Along with professors being a very useful resource, there are other options on campus such as tutors, study groups, and teacher assistants.

  • WVU Mountaineer
  • I am a current student here

This Mountaineer gives WVU a 10/10. It is a large college with many options, but with the help of Gordon Gee and the professors it has a small college feel. It is a beautiful campus in the hills of WV.

All the professors I had are very helpful and passionate about their job. There are many great opportunities to choose from, so you can never be bored. The WVU mobile app is super helpful; it helped me learn where buildings are on campus.
