The Oakland Dorm is new with air condition and plenty of room for what you need. The closets are huge with mirror doors. A must have would be a mattress pad…
the dorms are pretty small but you do get to meet new people and you feel right at home by the end of your first semester. …
There are many dorms around West Virginia University for Freshman and Sophomores to reside in. If you want to live downtown closer to where most classes are held and where…
the dorms are pretty well centralized to the campus. we also have a rail system called the personal rapid transit, or prt, that can quickly and safely get you to…
The dorm life can be both good and bad experience for anyone. But most of the time the school tries to match students that share the same interests together in…
Not really fantastic. A couple good places to eat off campus though.
Read MoreFood card is mandatory first year. The food is good. You can also use it a few fast food restaurants which is nice.
Read MoreThere are various places for food, so you could go to a new place everyday! All the food is fresh and wonderful!
Read MoreIf you can crave it they have a restaurant for it somewhere on campus.
Read MoreAvoid eating fast food! Even though it is convienient you will feel sluggish and rough :( try to eat leafy greens and drink lots of water! Dining halls have tempting choices but they also have plenty of healthy options too! Try to get a to go box rather than eating in, as then your experience can turn into a buffet style and that’s not good!
Read MoreIt's a lot of fast food and buffets. It can get a little repetitive, but the food is decent quality. Just be careful how much you eat.
Read MoreI honestly enjoyed all the food at WVU. Just as there are many dorms to choose from, there are multiple dining halls to choose from and everyone has their favorite. I loved Boreman Bistro; they have a great salad bar, deli, and even a coffee bar. If you're looking for something after a good work out at the student rec, try the Juice Bar at Evansdale Crossing. Looking for some of your favorite chain restaurants? Check the Mountainlair!
Read MoreFood is typical college food, but there are lots of options outside the standard cafeterias like Hugh Baby's burger/BBQ, Tazikis mediterranean, Mexican, chick-fil-a, sbarros, Little Donkey chicken and many others.
Read Morei wasn't able to eat on campus when i went, but there is a fabulous pizza place off campus called "pies and pints" that is really good.
Read Morei have eaten multiple times at wvu. whether it is chain brand food or something specially made for the dorms, it will be delicious!

Read MoreCan't pledge until sophomore year, so I don't know that much. Most frats are on probation, even the Christian one...
Read MoreI am not involved in Greek life and do not wish to be, but there are plenty frats and sororities on campus.
Read MoreThere are multiple sororities on campus destined for people with different personalities but I wouldn't suggest full time students to get involved with it because being part of a sorority takes dedication and time. Our first priority are as students and getting top grades. Sororities are great for people who can manage their time accordingly and without distractions.
Read MoreThey party everyday of the week, they create repulsive banners and stick them outside. Opening week, I know if my dad saw them he would never let me go there.
Read MoreOur Greek life has received a bad reputation recently, but again it is all in what you choose to involve yourself in. They do a lot of volunteer work on campus and raise money for a lot of great charities.
Read MoreI am not a participant in the Greek Life, but lots of people like to join, and we even have professional fraternities/sororities as well for students who want to get a jump start in their careers.
Read MoreFrom the traditional to the professional, a variety of Greek life exists on campus.
