  • I am researching this school and have visited the campus

STUDDDDYYYYY!!! It is an academic institution, not a sorority. If you are not planning on trying hard this will not be the school for you. If you want to be constantly surrounded by hot guys, not the right place for you. BUT, if you truly care about you education and want to be surrounded by like minded people, you have come to the right place.

If you are an uber conservative young woman looking for a school where you can join others who share your political views and wish to shout them about campus, this is not the school for you. Overall, the student body is accepting of different views, but large numbers have been known to protest events on campus which they feel don't represent Wellesley's students' values. While no one will target someone else for being a Republican, essentially every first introduction includes preferred pronouns along with name, so liberal is the norm. The lack of social life on campus prompts anyone who wants to party to go at least as far as Babson, which is an important consideration for anyone who wishes to spend a lot of time with people other than Wellesley students. The is a school for serious students who are willing to work hard for a B; slackers beware.

  • I am accepted here and planning to attend soon

Be prepared to work! Wellesley very seriously weighs its academics. There isn't a huge party scene, but there's still plenty of fun to be had. Make your Why Wellesley essay as unique as you can, they seem to get a lot of the same.
