Make sure you explore all the different majors available. Always check rate my professor before taking a class because it allows you to understand the professor's teaching style. Make sure you check the locations of your classes before your class starts because campus can be a little confusing to new students.

Keep your stuff together. Apparently, administration isn't great and problems with records do happen. For example, financial aid issues. This is called being "Wayne Stated" it hasn't happened to me but be on the lookout. Don't just drift. Do extracurriculars, make friends, college is what you make it! Be a student people talk about. It'll open doors. The campus is pretty dead over the summer, but that means you get the library and other things to yourself! Everyone and their mother wants to be a doctor here. FYI, so lots of health stuff happens including events and clubs. If you need help or even if you think you're fine check out the student success center or disability department. The resources are amazing.
