    Make sure you visit the campus first. Take a drive downtown, explore the area and try to picture yourself living in that small of a town for 8 consecutive months. Sit at a coffee shop or a restaurant and just take in the scene around you, because it will pretty much stay the exact same for the majority of the time you attend college there.

    Make sure you are comfortable with taking 200+ students in classes your first year because that is the average amount of students for 100 classes. Prepare for the weather because in Pullman, cold below 0 degree weather is what you'll usually get from October-April.
