my son started school at virginia western back in may of this year. he applied for a loan in may as well. to this date, no refund has been made to him. the financial aid lies from monday through friday. they give him the run around and they don't care. he need things in order to start fall semester. he's been going to libraries in order to use a computer. when we call to get info on his refund they continue to lie. i'm going to contact the office of civil rights. i strongly believe he's being discriminated against. today is august 17, and he haven't gotten a refund yet for summer semester. i hate seeing him bust his butt in school to only be treated like this.

Study, study, study! It's not like high school. Reach out to others and don't be afraid to ask questions, no matter how dumb you think they are; the people there love to help. Check before choosing your professor, because there are some professors that may not be what you prefer. Manage time, and don't procrastinate. BE SURE to keep up with important dates! Finally, enjoy yourself while you learn! It is a privilege to many!
