A main tip for prospective tip for students planning on attending Valencia College is to conduct research on your intended transfer institution as soon as possible in order to plan your Valencia courses accordingly. If you know your intended major and an intended transfer school, get in touch with your transfer school and ask what classes offered at Valencia will transfer into their school so you don't waste money on classes that won't end up transferring over. If you don't quite know which school you're interested in transferring to yet, take general education classes. Get your English, math, and science classes out of the way so that when you transfer, you can focus more on classes that benefit your particular degree.
