Valdosta State University Campus Life

Their food is not always the best and the options are pretty limited. You will get tired of Chik-Fil-A and cold food in the Blazer Grille.

The food isn't bad and most of it is pretty good. There just aren't a lot of options, especially healthy ones.

The food is SPLENDIFEROUS!! It's so good you are totally going to want to eat it everyday! There are so many options to choose from just eat everything!

The food is AMAZING! You can choose between Palms Dining Hall, which is cafeteria style but on another level, Blazer Grill which is more restaurant style, and then multiple fast food choices around and close to campus. The service could honestly be better at times, but that doesn't stop the food from being great.

While I've never eaten at the Palm's dining hall, I've heard plenty of horror stories to keep me away. Your best bet would be to either eat at the on campus restaurants, such as Moe's and Chick-Fil-A, or to just buy groceries and keep them in your room.

They have a Chickfila and many other fast food restaurants.

Palms Dining Hall is the main dining hall and has a decent variety of food. They also can cater to any dietary requirements you may have. Hopper Hall has a dining hall as well although it's only open limited hours and offers a smaller variety of choices. There's also several other places to eat spread out around campus. So you should have no trouble finding something to eat.

Valdosta state has Starbucks, Moes, Nathans, and Chick-fil-a in addition to their dining halls.

There are 6 sororities and 6 fraternities here at Valdosta State. The frats have houses, but an old law concerning brothels in Valdosta keeps the sorority sisters from living together.

There's different types of Greek Life here and they do a ton of community service.

Active on campus, they all put on parties and events.

Greek life is a huge part of campus life here at VSU. But it seems like fun I would do it if I had to do again but you do not have to be a freshmen to join I have friends in greek life and they love it.

Valdosta State is very Greek oriented. There is a tight friendship between all sisters and brothers. The organizations frequently come together and plan stepshows, stroll offs and cookouts.

You have your pick of the litter in terms of which fraternity or sorority you would like to join.

Greek life is a very vibrant and strong presence on campus and a great option to get involved in.
