Around Town

We have a game room in the Student Union, and most of the dorms have activity rooms. Plus there's always the front lawn!

Well what isn't fun? If you are majoring in something you love, it will always be fun. Maybe taxing at times, but you should never be bored. The campus is wonderful and has many places to enjoy such as the Pedestrian Mall! This University has a lot to offer so make the most of it and have fun!

You can never get bored at Valdosta State because it has everything! Things to do range from a game room for all those who wish to relax in another world, to even an outdoor recreational event program called CORE, for all those who seek adventure.The campus has a swimming pool, weight room, basketball, rock climbing, several clubs and teams, sports, art, music rooms, ministries, and even more! There is no end to what you could do for fun!

Being a commuter student means that I don't really know what is happening on campus often. I know from my friends that live on campus that there are a lot of organizations you can join and always a party to go to. The Honors College also does plenty of events, but I find myself too busy with work and school to go.

Valdosta has many things to do around town. VSU has a gym and many clubs to join.

sports, clubs, greek life, community service, its too many things you can do.

Valdosta is a small, south Georgia town so a lot of places close earlier. But the university usually offers a plethora of activities for students to enjoy throughout the semester.

At VSU, i spend most of my time in the library, which has study rooms and computer labs, as well as 24/7 quiet zones. Outside of school, there is a mall here, and plenty of restaurants.

The campus recreation center is open to all students as a workout facility, an open basketball gym, and it offers dance and aerobics classes. VSU also has an outdoor recreation service that sets up excursions and activities for students.

My friends and I normally go to the Rec. Center for fun since there is a pool, but there are also bars located within walking distance of the school, a bowling alley and a movie theater up town, and sometimes a carnival comes through in the mall parking lot, which can also be in walking distance depending if you care to walk that far.
