    Simply be prepared, both academically and mentally. If you go into college without being prepared to be an actual "college student," then the staff and professors have no mercy. Along with that is the inevitable freedom that comes with going to college away from home. If you aren't mentally prepared to have the freedom of an adult, then it could possibly lead to a crash within your whole university experience.
