Pacific is in Stockton, California. As much as Stockton has a bad repuatation, where the school is there is nothing bad going on most of the time, quite like most other towns in America. The school is very safe, they have Public Safety officers and if you are ever out late and don't want to walk back to your dorm alone, you can get a ride from STRIPES, who will come pick you up wherever you are on campus and drive you back to your residence hall. Life in the dorms isn't that bad either. The Residence Assistants are always very nice people and will help you with anything from locking yourself out of your room to just needing someone to talk to. Hall mates can be great to spend time with, I highly recommend getting to know your neighbors so that you have someone to visit if you want to. Even though things quiet down on the weekend, one can always spend time with friends to pass the time.

Read MoreAs much as I am enjoying my time here, there is still some stuff that holds this school back. With UOP being located in Stockton, there is not much one can do off campus so you have to find stuff to do on campus. The thing is though, there is not a lot of things to do on campus either. There are a few activity rooms, but those tend to close early. The only thing that is open for a long time is the gym. The only way you are going to have fun is if you get involved on campus. I am able to have a good time because I am part of the fraternity Pi Kappa Alpha and also a member of the club rugby team. I suggest getting involved with whatever you can to make the best of your time if you attend UOP.
Read MoreSince the school is a beautiful small campus, you meet and befriend so many different people and can play sports on the grass or go hang out at the UC. Although its in stockton, it is in the great part of stockton. The only bad thing is that the school has faced its few townspeople intruding every now and then onto some unauthorized buildings.
Read MoreI have made many friends since attending: I am a Student Advisor helping out with the incoming freshman class, I am a Residential Assistant helping to maintain orderly conduct in the residence halls, and I am an active member of the Pi Kappa Alpha, Kappa Nu chapter on campus as a scholarship chairman.
