The dorms are small and very pricey. The small rooms you share with someone can get very hot and the communal bathrooms aren't very up to date. Although pricey and…
dorms are fairly plain, but the people and ras are great. many fun times to be had, not to mention the food at washakie is not bad either. …
The University just renovated the dorms, which are quite nice for the price you pay. Both single rooms and two-student dorms are available. Campus apartments are also offered.…
Dorm rooms here are cozy, so don't bring too much stuff, but doors respond to either a code or your student ID, so there aren't any keys to lose! There…
Most of the dorms are currently outdated, but they are currently being renovated. The Internet system is terrible and I had several issues with my connection throughout the year.…
I have been there a number of times as I have take tips to see my brother and the food is great. Never once have I been disappointed with the food
Read MoreThe dinning offers a buffet, meaning you get to choose different things everyday. They also offer gluten friendly options, so if you have different dietary needs, they can be met.
Read MoreThere are a few food options available on campus, and I have heard great things from others.
Read MoreThere aren't many vegan options, but there are a lot of vegetarian options, and those are pretty good. If you don't have any dietary restrictions, you'll probably like it.
Read MoreThe school has great, affordable options for food.
Read MoreLots of great options on campus and a lot of great places off campus.
Read MoreMost of the time Washakie, the dining hall, has amazing food, but it can also seem repetitive and sometimes the food can be under par.
Read MoreFood at dorms actually pretty good, in town restaurants okay.
Read MoreTHIS IS THE BEST PART. Aside from the schooling of course. The food is so diverse and there are options for people with any sort of special diet. There are so many different stations that it's difficult to get sick of the food. Washakie knows how to do it.
Read Morewashakee dining center is a diverse eatery with reasonable food for the price.
Read MoreThere are plenty of fraternities and sororities to satisfy whatever Greek life you want.
Read MoreGreat greek life
Read Moregreek life isn't as big here as most other schools, which i personally don't mind.
Read MoreI've heard nothing but great things about Greek Life at UW. Though I am not apart of it, it is a great opportunity for those who are interested. The cool thing about Greek Life at UW is that all of the houses do a great job at keeping students involved with them. They put on things such as haunted houses, pancake breakfasts, and other various activities. Everyone I have talked to who are apart of Greek Life, really do love it. Keep in mind though, that it is not free. It does cost a good amount of money to be apart of, but just like the University as a whole, it is significantly cheaper than any other big university you'll find.
Read MoreThere's a good variety of fraternities and sororities to choose from, they are very nice and inviting, but Greek life isn't for everyone, they have meetings weekly to keep their houses in order and they seem to understand the boundaries set by the school.
Read MoreA few however they have a lot of rule and regulation they must conscribe to.. which can be rather dull
Read MoreI am not a part of Greek life but I have several friends who are. I know that our chapters are very much a part of the entire UW community and help put on events for the whole school as well as their own events. I have gone to our homecoming sing contest many times and had a great time with the people in Fraturnities and Sororities.
Read MoreIt is not what the stereotype would have you think. They're friendly and open. They don't have silly competitions between each other.
Read MoreThriving.
Read MoreGreek life at the University of Wyoming is starting to grow. It has been small for a while and now with new leadership there is a positive future for it. The fraternities and sororities are very involved on campus and in the community and push each other through healthy competition to be leaders on the campus. I am in a fraternity and I would strongly recommend Greek life to anyone else because of all the memories I've made and people I've met. The people you meet will impact you for the rest of your life and help you become the person you want to be. Greek life does events such as socials among other Greek houses, philanthropy events, campus events, community events, member events, and much more. Rush week is at the start of every school year for new students to see each house and get an idea about what each house is about. That is where you can see which place is a fit for you if you are interest and if not it is a good place to meet some really cool people.
