    Take good notes in class and try to figure out which professors you would like to have before you sign up for classes! Some professors are good and will make you, but then there are other's who will break your GPA for the semester.

    Always, and I mean always, carry a map with you when you walk around. It can be hard to get around, but if you have a map and a friendly face, people will be generally nice to you and you will get your way around there with ease. Also make sure to do a lot of research on the school and try to visit often so you can see change and stay updated.
