  • The dorms are nice. However, they are first come, first serve so I wouldn't recommend signing up late. The best freshmen dorms are Centerpointe and Oaks.…

Goodness the food is better than I thought it would be. UWG has great service in the dining halls. They make us feel welcomed.

The only thing I would recommend on campus is Chick-fil-a. Everything else is a waste of money/dining dollars.

Food and dining is delicious here, there’s many options to choose from in the UCC, and also the dining halls. The dining halls provide breakfast, lunch, and diner everyday. Everything is always hot and made to order.

The food is good, there just isn't a large variety of things to choose from. Every week they serve the same food. Monday is "Mexican Monday," which includes tacos and other things. Wednesday is "Fried Chicken Wednesday," which includes southern food such as collard greens, macaroni, mashed potatoes and other foods. The other days of the week normal food is served. Although there are a lot of restaurants around campus.

The food service is not that good. Recently, UWG parted ways with its long-time food provider, Aramark, and began its own food department, Dine West, which is in its first year of serving the student body. While it tastes good, it is far from nutritious.

The food is really good especially the breakfast. Depending on what meal plan you have they give you wolf bucks and dinning dollars, which sometimes can be used for the same thing. The cafeteria workers are very nice and generous by giving you a lot of food with a smile.

the dining halls serve pretty good food but sometimes you can get bored of eating it. thankfully, you can use your dining dollars at other on campus restaurants like starbucks, subway, chik-fil-a, einstein bros, and domino's.

we are officially one of the two schools in georgia home to the "divine nine". meaning we have all nine of the national sororities and fraternities. don't be mistaken because we aren't limited to them and our greek life is pretty diverse.

Maybe joining a sorority or fraternity on campus would be a good idea if you go to UWG since then you will have friends to talk to that can help you figure out why the courses are designed so poorly, why no one who manages the school offices knows what's going on, and why your coursework is so time-consuming and unmanageable that you have no time to sleep or live your life.

The greek life's fun for those who are in it, some organizations are pretty cool and try and reach out, others are pretty close knit, so its kind of hard to interact with some. That being said, there are some great people within their organizations, just depends on how well you get along with them.

Greek Life is amazing - fourteen sororities and thirteen fraternities - six of them being apart of the National Pan-Hellenic. All of them have a minimum requirement for GPA and hold various events throughout the year - both social events and volunteer work.
