The dorm life is amazing. The way you can easily interact with your roommates and other people who attend the University makes it easy to build friendships with many people.…
Dorm life is nice. The dorms range from apartments, fraternity housing, quads, doubles to singles. They actually recently built Ottawa West a new branch of the Ottawa House. This is…

Freshman dorm was great for freshman, Ottawa house is great for second year. Will see where my third year takes me. …
Join a freshman only dorm to truly have the college experience. The dorms that are available to upperclassmen may be a little newer/nicer but a lot less social.…
There were 2 dining halls, and a few restaurants in the Student Union building. The library also has a Starbucks.
Read MoreEverything closes for any school holiday - good luck going hungry if you are from out of state without transportation.
Read MoreI've eaten in the dining halls at other universities and UT seems to be about average.
Read Moreyou can swipe as many times a day for food in the dining hall and different eatery places available around and on campus.
Read MoreThe food on campus is very delicious, but there needs to be more of a variety in the foods to choose from.
Read MoreI just honestly love the school and it's an overall great program! If you are ever considering a school please go with the university of toledo it's the best route to go! Go Rockets!
Read Morethere are a lot of different food places around campus and just outside of campus
Read MoreThe food itself is pretty good. Parks has great food so if you live there thats very convenient. Ottawa is pretty good as well, and so is South Dining. I personally have never been to International House for food, but people say that it is good too. Croutonz is a restaurant in the Union that is like Subway but with salads and it is amazing. There is also Magic Wok, Agave, Pizza Hut, Subway, and Phoenicia which sells pretty good Greek food. The problem with the dining halls and restaurants is that the hours are pretty terrible. You should always make sure you have food in your dorm because a lot of the times, especially when it gets late in the day or if you have to stay at school for a holiday, the dining halls will be closed.
Read MoreLots of places to eat on campus. Always somewhere if your hungry.
Read MoreI eat lunch at Croutonz (the salad bar) nearly every single day, because healthy options are a bit difficult to find. However, just between last year and this year, I have found that UT is making a conscious effort to improve their menu and offer more health items--I'm impressed! I wish there were more options to use meal swipes instead of just dining dollars (such as Subway, Magic Wok, and Pizza Hut), but places like Croutonz, Agave, and the dining halls offer meal swipe options, so that is nice. I love South Dining for its variety and quality of food; plus, it is in close proximity to my residence hall, so I can grab a quick meal. There is a dining hall in International house, so when I lived there I would grab dinner downstairs. The food is not as great at Ihouse as in South Dining or Ottawa, but the grilled cheese sandwiches are great, and the staff was very nice. The convenience stores are a great option for a quick bite to eat in between classes, and once again, they have meal swipe options to allow you to make the most out of your meal plan. UT's dining services have certainly improved over the time I've attended UT, and I can't wait to see where they're headed.
