Create an account now! There’s not much to do here. We have a Mall, movie theater, “Nickel World”, and a Dave N Busters. There’s a few events year round, but overall, it’s a small campus.
Read MoreJust speaking from the perspective of a parent of a special needs son - this may not apply to your situation. UToledo puts on a great face, talking about the systems they have in place, and how much they care. This is disingenuous at best - success coaches, SDS advisors, academic advisers - they are punching a clock, and will not go out of their standard operating procedure for the individual. When a child who can score a 35 on the ACT fails out because the safety nets we were assured were in place are never actually put out to catch him, this is unacceptable.

Read MoreThere are normally always sports games that you can go to, or you can go to the Rec to play pool or ping pong. You can also go to the pool in the Rec center or walk or bike around campus. Also, there are a bunch of hookah bars right around campus that are fun if you're into things like that. Also, there is a pretty big Greek life presence on campus, so whether or not you are in a sorority or fraternity, you can normally get into one of their parties as long as it isn't a social. Also, if you make a lot of friends and meet people who live off campus, chances are you'll always have somewhere to go. Chasers is a 18+ bar that a lot of people end up at, especially if they were at a townhouse party earlier in the night. It's a pretty gross place, but super fun after parties to go and dance.
