The University of St. Thomas is Houston's Catholic University, committed to the Catholic intellectual tradition and the dialogue between faith and reason. The average yearly tuition for undergraduate students is less than $13,000, after financial aid. You can major in biology, psychology, bioinformatics, communications, political science, music, business, Catholic studies and many other subjects. We also offer one of the premier BSN nursing programs in Houston, Texas. By pursuing excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service, we embody and instill in you the core values of our founders, the Basilian Fathers: Goodness, Discipline and Knowledge. Our core liberal arts curriculum helps you develop a moral framework along with in-demand skills like critical thinking, writing and teamwork.
On top of the campus being beautiful there is always something going on. Someone is always handing out free stuff and the school hosts many events that keep the campus active and fun. All of the students are extremely nice and helpful to freshman which definitely gives a great learning environment. What I loved best was that the campus hired massage therapists, relaxation dogs, and gave out free breakfast in the few days before finals. I can not imagine a school that cares so much about your personal success.
