University of San Diego is prestigious, yet not overwhelmingly intimidating. The overall positive of this university are that the professors are extraordinary, but lacks severely in diversity.

Read MoreThe USD campus is one of the most beautiful around - set on a hilltop a few minutes from the ocean, with Mission-style architecture and stunning views. Academically, there is an ideal balance with small classes and attentive professors that push students enough to learn and feel challenged, but not so difficult that students cannot have a social life or outside interests. And the best part about USD is the student body - a diverse population of students who are engaged in learning and the importance of a good education.
