Upperclassman dorms are great, and freshmen dorms are slightly older. We have been renovating the freshman dorms, so the quality of living in them has gone up significantly over my…
Dorms are comfortable and welcoming. Everyone is really friendly, and it is easy to make friends. The quality of the dorms are fantastic.…
Freshman year you live in a typical college dorm, bunk beds and all. But after that you live in upperclassman suites which are AMAZING.…
Dorm life could be better, there should be a better away to keep everyone connected and involved once they are no longer in the freshman dorms. Also they should pick…
The first year residence halls are not anything special. Like many other schools, it is usually a little cramped. However, the experience of first year living is something people never…

Read MoreHere on the Biddeford Campus, UNE has five different dining areas (Decary, The Hang, Windward Caf©, Alfond Caf© and The Forum) where people can grab food. Students get flex dollars of $135 for the semester and 12-17 meal swipes weekly. Decary offers fresh food from grilled to toss bars, where you order what you want. Decary is a meal swipes which renew every week! We have âThe Hangâ where people gather with friends to eat good food in a calm environment. Although The Hang is flex dollars or out of pocket money if you run out of your flex dollars but it is definitely worth it because The Hang has what we, college students tend to crave for! The Forum is also another meal swipe venue where you can create your own fresh burrito, taco, or even taco salad in bowl. Windward Caf© is the best place for smoothies that I can think of! If you have studying to do, windward also offers coffee and you can sip your coffee away with the beautiful view of the ocean! Windward also offers some really good salad! Windward is also another flex dollar venue but honestly those smoothies are just worth it! Last but not least we have Alfond Cafe where they provide sandwiches and salad. Not only do they provide sandwiches, but also, they serve freshly brewed New England Coffee all day and fresh baked good to grab when you are on your way to class or just want to take a break from studying and decide to treat yourself with some goodies! Alfond Caf© is both a meal swipe or flex dollar but it all depends on what you are getting.

Read MoreThere are multiple places to eat on campus, including Decary, the main dining hall which is buffet style with multiple meal choices. Personally I don't think the food is bad at all, but some students aren't a fan.
Read MoreThe food at UNE varies. We have five different places to eat on campus, one of which is a main dining hall. The other four small eateries are usually pretty good. They offer a pretty wide variety of options. The dining hall can sometimes be disappointing, especially if you are eating there three times a day. The dessert is always good though! I recommend switching it up as much as possible. If you eat at the same place every day, multiple times a day, you are bound to get sick of it. Remember that you are not restricted to the school's food. Order delivery for a change. There are many different restaurants that deliver to UNE, like thai, sushi, and pizza. Also, get off campus! Take the bus or rent the Zipcar to try out some of Southern Maine's local cuisine. It is one of the best parts of UNE's location.
Read MoreUnfortunately the food at this university isn't the greatest. There are a variety of different dining options available but not all of them are included on the dining plan. Don't come here for the food.
Read Moreaverage, nothing fancy. avoid the meat
Read MoreThe dining hall food is school cafeteria food; you can complain about it all you want but its not much better anywhere else. There are a few different food options on campus that use flex dollars. Plus, there's a Starbucks so you're basically all set.
