Read MoreI hated UNLV with a passion. Generally, I don't find that the major problem with an institution is the support staff, but it is here. The professors need work, but there are some great classes. However, the support staff is by far the worst of any school I have heard of. For example, there are 3-4 counselors that work in the financial aid office at a time. The problem is that there are 30,000 students. There simply are not enough people working in these offices to help the number of students at the school. I also found that the ones that are working there, often know very little about UNLV policies. I spent 6 months trying to get my graduation application to go through because I was the only one that actually knew the policies regarding transfer students.
Read Morei actually like attending here. the campus is nice and big and there is a whole lot to do. it is pretty easy to get involved in school.
