As a state school, definitely not as expensive as a private institution. I think I pay a fair amount for the education and resources at umass, but I do recieve a solid financial aid package. It’s affordable, for me at least and I’m a first generation minority student.

I feel like it is extremely expensive for out of state students and the dorms aren't that great for what we are paying for. Do as much as you can to make up for it!

All colleges are expensive. UMass is a little pricey, but considering the reputation and experiences you will receive from going here, it's priceless. There are so many free resources on campus, and everyone is here to help. UMass is a great investment.

College is expensive for everyone no matter where you go. Lots of chances to succeed at Umass, though.
