i like that if you want to go out and party you can and their are almost always events happening on campus however i would enjoy a city atmosphere much better
Read MoreI do enjoy being at UMES. Aside from the educational experience, the culture aspect of the school is the best! There are so many activities and organizations to join here on this campus. For example, I am apart of 3 organizations and 2 honor societies. I appreciate them because you're able to network and meet people from all over.

Read MoreAlthough UMES is not in a major city, you can find plenty of interseting things to do. I have been to Ocen City, MD, Washington DC, Baltimore, MD, and Hampton, VA. These are places that are within 2 to 3 hours of campus. The Greyhound Bus also stops on campus for your traveling needs as well as a local shuttle to take you to Wal-Mart, the mall, and local shopping centers.
